The Bremen Singers is a play/musical based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale. It completes the story and offers several songs.

The setting is northern Germany several hundred years ago. The action has a timespan of six months, this being the lapse of time between Act I and Act II.

In the cast of thirty or more, there are about fifteen speaking parts for the Hens, as well as a like number of singing parts for them in the musical, and ten or more speaking parts for Gang Members.
